Epic Armoury’s Single Bladed Axe is a 105 cm latex is designed to be a practical weapon, versatile across your many costumes. The axe features a 51 cm long, curved head heavily detailed with notches and scratches to look like it’s seen abuse on the battlefield. Sculpted and hand-painted, the head appears attached to the staff with solid riveted steel plates. The staff, with its detailed wooden texture, has a 26 cm long handle decorated to look wrapped in leather for extra grip.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your kit.

History

• Many battle axes doubled as tools and were cheaper to make than swords
• First hafted axe was created about 6,000 B.C. using birch-tar and rawhide lashings to fix the blade to its handle
