The word “Char-a’ina” is derived from the Persian “چهاﺮآﻳنه” which directly translates as “four mirrors”. This refers to the four plates that constitute the characteristic cuirass. Historically, the armor was donned in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Asia. From an intent to create a general and versatile look, the Char-a’ina Complete Armour Set is a synthesis of several historical designs. A well-suited armor for those wishing to play a warrior character with a distinct Middle Eastern or West Asian design. As armor is designed to protect the wielder from blows, many of our designs feature overlapping metal plates, which may result in scratches upon use.

The Char-a'ina Complete Armour Set consists of following pieces:

• Char-a'ina Cuirass uses four plates, one on the front, back and sides, it is held together by full grain straps that crisscross across your back and can be tightened and loosened between your sides
• Persian Greaves is a set of steel leg protection designed to protect the shins and calves. Formed to the shin and connected by chainmail, these greaves are designed to sit comfortably over the shins while leaving room for poleyns to cover the kneecaps
• Persian Helmet features a tall bowled head with a pointed crest that has been capped with a decorative plate. A nasal guard extends up over the forehead and offers great protection to the face without limiting too much visibility, and it creates an impressive silhouette on the battlefield. It can be removed by loosening the front bolt
• Bazuband is a compromise between the discomfort of gauntlets and the mobility of demi-gauntlets, providing comfort and the freedom of movement you desire. Paired with your own leather glove, these robust steel plates efficiently protect the back of your hand, thumb, and underarm while strong chainmail connects the plates to ensure unbridled but protected movement
